Khati, Shrestha, Rijal to be conferred with Nai Puraskar
Kathmandu: The Nai Publication has decided to honour Ajambardhowj Khati of Rupandehi with 'Nai Dhanrup Puraskar' for his contributions to the Nepali language and literature by residing in the mofussil.
Member Secretary of the Nai Publication Narendraraj Prasain said that Nai Publication is to honour 82-year-old Khati for his tireless efforts to the promotion of Nepali language and literature through his writings. Likewise, litterateurs Gayatri Shrestha and Sarswati Rijal of Chitwan would be conferred jointly with 'Nai Bulu Sharma Puraskar' for their services to the Nepali literary field. The prizes carry separate purses of Rs 50,000. The prizes would be given away to the litterateurs at a programme to be organized in the capital city on 12 May. RSS
